Kathryn Maple is one of over 90 artists exhibiting in Drawing the Unspeakable at Towner Eastbourne.
‘Drawing the Unspeakable’ curated by David Dimbleby & Liza Dimbleby is open now at Towner Eastbourne!
For renowned broadcaster David Dimbleby and his daughter, the universal language of drawing transcends the limitations of words, offering a means to convey the most complex ideas and emotions.
Featuring 300 works, ‘Drawing the Unspeakable’ is an exploration of human experience through art. The exhibition brings together a diverse array of pieces that challenge the boundaries of speech, navigating themes of disaster, war, displacement and destruction, mental and physical illness, loss, grief, birth and family, dreams, memories, and imagination.
Kathryn Maple's piece, A Memorial for my Father, 2017 is on display at Towner Eastbourne from 5 October 2024-27 April 2025.
